Click Away – Order in store & make an appointment for pickup anywhere.

In this article I will tell you about Clik Away, what it is and how it works.

Click Away is a way where your customers can shop in your online store, the order will be prepared, the customer makes an appointment with the shopkeeper and goes to collect it from the store, minimizing human contact while you greatly reduce the crowding inside the stores especially for the current time of the pandemic which is necessary.

We can achieve this function through WooCommerce, allowing your customers to come and pick up the products from your physical store, on a specific date and at a specific location.

Through Woocommerce with Click Away service, we provide a very powerful pickup system for retailers with multiple locations, distribution centers or pickup sites. We provide pickup locations across the country (or other countries!). You can limit pickup to certain items, limit which products are available at a location, accept scheduled pickups, and more!

Your customers know exactly where to go to pick up their products and you know where to expect them. Customers will see a list of available pickup locations for each product that can be picked up (or you can choose to only allow one pickup location per order) and can select locations that allow them to pick up orders where they want them.

Also with Click Away service each pickup location can have its own settings for holidays, business hours and more. However, there may be larger differences between your locations, such as the inventory each carries. If certain locations only carry certain products, you can limit which products are available for pickup at a given location.

If an item is in the cart that is not available at a location, that location is simply hidden from the list when the customer selects where to pick up the item.

Product and category pickup availability is available, you can set a product that requires pickup or a product that cannot be picked up (must be shipped).

Sometimes you'll need to know when a customer is coming to pick up an order or let them know when your location accepts pickups. Pickup appointments allow you to set business hours globally or per location, along with holidays, delivery time (preparation time required for pickup), and deadline (maximum days allowed for pickup scheduling).

Each location can still apply its own schedule, delivery time and deadline if the default doesn't match. If pickup date appointments are enabled, the customer will be able to select a date (or will have to select one, depending on your settings) and will see location details and opening hours on the date they select.

When a pickup location is set up, you can add an email notification list for the location. Whenever an order contains items from this site, these email addresses will be added as recipients for admin order emails.
