Media Digital Tools Phase II (Vouchers)

1st Round of Business Support through Vouchers, with renewed terms!

The "DIGITAL MEDIA TOOLS" Program is financed by resources of the Recovery and Resilience Fund for the "Digital Transformation of Small and Medium Enterprises" Action, within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan Greece 2.0 with funding from the European Union - NextGenerationEU.

Through the Program, participating businesses, using vouchers, can acquire, through purchase or lease, new digital tools in order to strengthen their digital maturity.

The Public Expenditure of the new cycles amounts to €42,000,000 and concerns the total of the unallocated funds of the overall program, as updated and valid each time.

The aid is subject to the De minimis aid regime.

Membership conditions

Within the framework of the Program, existing small and medium-sized enterprises and freelancers are supported for which the following conditions are cumulatively met, among others:

Individual Categories of Beneficiaries and Type of Support

Beneficiaries of the Program are included in the following distinct categories and the intensity and amount of the aid is determined based on the category of each business, as follows:

Special Conditions for Categories #1 and #2

The number of members refers to the Natural Persons (Notaries and Bailiffs respectively), who jointly participate in the business applying for funding from the Program.

For sole proprietorships / individual Notaries and Court Administrators the number of members is equal to one (1).

For legal forms (civil companies) the total number of members (MF) participating in them is taken into account.

All of the above information is drawn from the registers kept by the Notarial Associations and the Federation of Court Bailiffs of Greece respectively.

Submission of Applications and Implementation Schedule

The Program will be implemented through three (3) short, consecutive cycles, utilizing the entire unallocated budget of each category, as it has been formed at the time of inclusion of the beneficiaries of the specific cycle, and it will be completed either with the absorption of the available budget, or with the passing of its expiration date.

First Circle

Potential beneficiaries will be able to submit Funding Applications

  • from the Monday, December 16, 2024,
  • up to and including Friday 03 January 2025 at 17:00.

For applications that are approved, beneficiaries will be able to make purchases according to the following deadlines:

  • Issuance and binding of checks from suppliers, by Monday, January 20, 2025 up to Friday, February 14, 2025.
  • Check cashing (provided that the corresponding commitment has been made within the above time period) by Friday, February 28, 2025.

 

Second Circle

Potential beneficiaries will be able to submit Funding Applications

  • from Monday 17 February 2025,
  • until Friday 07 March 2025 at 17:00.

Approved beneficiaries may make purchases according to the following deadlines:

  • Issuance and binding of checks from suppliers, by Monday, March 24, 2025 up to Friday, April 18, 2025.
  • Check cashing (provided that the corresponding commitment has been made within the above time period) by Friday 02 May 2025.
Third Circle

Potential beneficiaries will be able to submit Funding Applications

  • from the Monday, March 10, 2025,
  • up to and including Friday March 28, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.

For applications that are approved, beneficiaries will be able to make purchases according to the following deadlines:

  • Issuance and binding of checks from suppliers, by Monday, April 14 2025 up to Friday 09 May 2025.
  • Check cashing (provided that the corresponding commitment has been made within the above time period) by Friday, May 23, 2025.

Eligible Expenses

Through the Program, eligible expenditure categories are:

A. Digital Products

Digital Solutions, Services and Software: Standard software products that are available for sale from Program Approved Vendors and are included in Unified Register of Approved Digital Products and Services.

 

A.01 Solutions to Improve Business Operations

It is possible to subsidize expenses for commercial management solutions, warehouse management, payroll, CRM, personnel management applications, staff timekeeping software, etc.

A.02 Collaboration & Productivity Solutions

For example, expenses for office applications, teleconferencing solutions, conventional Cloud/Virtual PBX type solutions, etc. may be subsidized.

A.03 Solutions to Enhance E-Commerce

For example, costs for creating an e-shop, cloud tools for: marketing automation, digital campaign management & customer loyalty, etc. may be subsidized.

A.04 Security & Trust Solutions

For example, costs for security of access to applications and data, for electronic signatures, for data governance/compliance solutions etc. may be subsidized.

A.05 Special Category Software

This specific category concerns only Business Categories 1 and 2 for the costs of special management and organization software for a Notarial Office and a Bailiff's Office respectively.

Digital Equipment: Standardized software products that are available for sale from Program-approved Vendors and are included in the Unified Register of Approved Digital Products and Services.

A.06 Digital Equipment Expenses

Indicatively, expenses are subsidized for the purchase of tablets, laptops, desktop computers, scanners, printers, teleconference systems, time clocks, projectors, network devices (routers, switches, repeaters) and security devices (firewalls), etc.

It is pointed out that the supply of digital equipment is considered eligible, only if it is accompanied by the supply of a digital solution (service or software).

 

B. Additional Services

B.00: Supplementary Services
  • Product installation, configuration and setup ≤ 30% on the total subsidy.
  • Information and training ≤ 10% on the total subsidy.
  • Consulting support for Digital Transformation ≤ 10% on the total subsidy.

 In any case, the subsidy for all supplementary services cannot exceed 30% of the total subsidy (categories A and B together).

B.00: Supplementary Equipment
  • Expenses for purchase of mouse or keyboard or speakers or peripherals (cables) ≤ €50.
  • Expenses for computer monitor ≤ €250.

In any case, the subsidy for all additional equipment cannot exceed:

  • €400 per member/ VAT (Notary public or Court bailiff) participating in an SME of Category #1 & #2.
  • €300 per subsidized SME of Category #3
  • €150 per subsidized SME of Category #4..

Q&A

1. How can I find out if my business can be subsidized by Category 3 or Category 4?
  • In Category 3 small and medium enterprises are included, whose headquarters located in affected areas.

    You can check here if your business location is included by Postcode in the affected areas.

    If your business is not based in the affected postcode areas, then your business falls into Category 4: General SME Category.

2. Which KAD are included in the NON ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES based on those defined by the Program Guide?
  • Based on the Program Guide, to assess the eligibility of your business activity, consideration should be given to KAD Main Activity when submitting the application.

    All activities except those listed are eligible here.
